AUBE Will Disband After Their Last Show In August

Japanese indie visual kei band AUBE has some sad news for fans.
They will disband after the release of their single album and final performance, which is already confirmed by their agency. The last single, A (temporary title) will be released on July 23, 2014.

Their final performance will take place at Shibuya Club Asia on August 15, 2014. Their agency left a message stating the band will be ending all activities after their Oneman Tour this August. They apologized to fans for this announcement and said the members will put all they’ve got into their last show for an unforgettable performance.

AUBE’s final single will come in two versions, both featuring two different songs. The regular edition will be sold in various locations, but the limited edition will have to be obtained through their live event or at Like an Edison stores.

AUBE debuted on July 19, 2010 and released their first single, The Farthest Gate, on November 11, 2010. The band consists of five members, Kaito, Yuichi, Sae, Akiya and Shuu.
